DE MÈCHE is a French-English band from Gatineau-Ottawa, Canada. It was formed in 2020 when five longtime friends from past artistic endeavors decided to come together to satisfy their urge for musical creation, bringing along a sensitivity built upon all the music that marked their lives and touched their hearts since the early years. Driven by the search for elegant simplicity, DE MÈCHE is a manifold proposal of raw yet reverberative melodic and rhythmic energy.

Il s’est formé en 2020 lorsque cinq amis de longue date, issus de passés artistiques individuels et communs, se sont réunis pour satisfaire leur envie de création en s'inspirant de l'univers musical qui a bercé leur vie. Poussé par la recherche d’une élégante simplicité, DE MÈCHE propose une multiplicités d'énergies brutes où rythmes et mélodies se répercutent comme des échos.
